Cambridge Rare Disease Network - RAREsummit25 | Review 1

We celebrated CamRARE’s 10th anniversary in style, as 262 delegates gathered at the Wellcome Genome Campus on 6 November for RAREsummit25, marking a decade of progress, partnership, and purpose in the rare disease community.

The highlights film below captures the buzz of the day – from dynamic keynotes, powerful patient stories and cutting-edge panel discussions to spontaneous conversations between researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, policy-makers and advocates all united by shared experiences and ambition. Across sessions that showcased breakthrough collaborations, emerging innovations and deep reflections on lived experience, one message echoed throughout the day: real progress happens when partnerships endure, and the rare disease community comes together to learn, connect and co-create solutions that matter.

It’s been inspiring to see things taken to the next level just by starting off by being a passionate parent. It gives us hope that we can progress as well.

It’s really important to bring the rare community together in places such as the rare summit to give everyone an opportunity to voice their challenges, their concerns, and their needs.

I don’t think we can divorce physical from mental health. So it just seems logical that we’d have mental health threaded throughout the event.
