I am a Senior Research Collaboration Manager at the NIHR. The NIHR works in partnership with the NHS, universities, local government, other research funders, patients and the public, we fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people’s health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. We are funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. Our work focuses on early translational research, clinical research and applied health and social care research. The NIHR Collaborations team support NIHR infrastrcuture wide collaborations including the Translational Research Collaborations.

Rare Research & Funding

Rare Disease researchers take part in a poster and pitch session to share their novel approaches to engaging patients in research. Then joined by a panel of research funders to explore the challenges, opportunities and novel approaches to funding this vital research.
