Supporting Innovation to Deliver Positive Health Impacts
Eastern AHSN – Supporting Innovation to Deliver Positive Health Impacts
Eastern AHSN (Academic Health Science Network) is funded by the NHS and the Office for Life Sciences to bring together academia, citizens, health services and industry to realise the value of innovations more quickly.
We’ve partnered with the Cambridge Rare Disease Network (CRDN) to understand where innovation can improve the lives of people living with rare diseases. From responses to a patient and family members questionnaire at CRDN Rarefest20, we’ve identified three significant healthcare challenges faced by people living with rare diseases and their families. We’ve now shortlisted five innovators with solutions to these challenges and will be hearing them pitch live at RAREsummit21.
